 hey alpinest4r..i dont know what ur motive is by saying taufik is lame..but i do like his music..just like some people like Michael Jackson although he is a child molester..but people like his music...so if u have a grudge on taufik or anythin like that..dont go around and telling people that crap u told me about him...i suggest u keep it to yourself or u just tell the four walls in ur room..  look, if ur some kind of manic-depressive who worships him, by all means, you can do it in your own four walls too. everyone's entitled to their own opinions. anyone can say anything about your beloved taufik, any other superstar, or you for that matter. surely taufik is smart enough to know that not everybody would drop to their knees and kiss his feet the way you do?
he can think taufik is lame for the broken english he speaks, and you can still think he is the God of music. right now, I'm pretty sure a lot of people think you're lame as well for making such a big issue over a stupid comment. why should it bother you anyway? it's just a comment isn't it? your "saint" taufik is still the singing "superstar", with millions of fans.
and fyi, he's not going around telling people that story. he just happens to post it here because YOU ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION. now, unless you're a fan of him too, and suggesting that you crave his attention, considering that you anxiously visit his page all the time, so hungry for a reply, I suggest you let the matter rest and just do whatever it is you do in your sad life. |

Hi unholyconfession, this is my reply towards your star.
I'll tell you why I call this Taufik lame, I'll tell you my personal experience about him at a Christmas party for a needy organisation - ( I shall not elaborate more on the organisaton) .... no doubt he is a good singer...
Here goes:-
He was a "surprise" guest for this organisation - TERMINALLY ILL KIDS. That was when he just won the competition. It was a direct telecast to a morning show, he was doing his live singing to the needy audience who does not really recognise who he was, well may be to some he was recognisable.
Well to cut the story short, right after the on-site director gesture they were offline, he made this crappy joke which really irks the shit out of the few of us there. With a typical MAT MELAYU ACCENT after his superb singing this is what he said, right after the camera was offline ,"And then never laugh." (direct translation from a malay sentence - "abih tak ketawa")
The english was superbly broken, the accent was superbly malay....
So there it is, no matter how kurang ajar you think I am, to the few of us that witness this Melayu guy who try to make a joke to a group of terminally ill patients who dont understand what he was joking about, which the majority never knew, HE will always stay LAME to the few of us there and especially ME....
